Why does Cloud Porter require Full Drive Access?

To facilitate the "Use My Quota" feature, the application requires permission to copy files into the downloader's Google Drive and list files to confirm existence. We do not read your emails, delete your files, or access private folders unrelated to the application's operation.

Is my data secure?

Yes. We use industry-standard encryption for all database entries. Your OAuth tokens are stored in secure sessions and are automatically revoked upon logout or expiration. We strictly adhere to Google's Limited Use Policy.

Does this bypass Google's Terms of Service?

No. This tool is designed to help users manage their own personal bandwidth quotas efficiently. It duplicates files to the user's own storage, meaning the user is consuming their own allocated Drive resources, which is fully compliant with intended usage.
